HELP US RESCUE A DOG + HELP A VETERAN WITH PTSD! Click here to learn more.
Here's to all the dogs. The goofballs. The protectors. The troublemakers. The big ones who are afraid of a bug. The tiny ones ready to rumble with a dog the size of a pony. No, you cannot have their ball. Or their stick. But they are happy to accept a treat, any treat. Best of all, they love you unconditionally.
You are their whole world. They just want to play, lick, wag, eat, howl, walk, drive, cuddle, run, bark, jump...well, do just about anything as long as it's with us! Which is why loving a dog makes our lives richer and our capacity to love greater.
Upload a photo of your dog, share it on social media, and ask your friends to VOTE your entry for a chance to win one of our Best-in-Show prizes.
By entering the Dog Stories contest, you are eligible to win a private event for you and up to 10 friends at the Eight Oaks Craft Distillery. Tour the distillery, get the chance to barrel whiskey and sign the barrel. Then enjoy a farm-to-table dinner along with Eight Oaks craft spirit tasting flights, two complimentary cocktails, Eight Oaks T-shirts and shot glasses for you and all your guests.
A dog's love is a powerful tonic in our lives, but to many Veterans a service dog provides a lifeline back to civilian life. Eight Oaks is partnering with Tails of Valor to raise awareness and the funds to rescue and train a service dog for a waiting Veteran. As part of this fundraiser, Eight Oaks will make a $1 donation to Tails of Valor for every bottle of select craft spirits sold during designated specials every month. Watch for announcements in your Dog Stories newsletters and on the Eight Oaks web site. Help us rescue a dog, support a Veteran in need, and return hope to a military family.
Dedicated to providing rehabilitation through non-medicinal therapies with service canines to Veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and physical disabilities. For more information, go to tailsofvalor.org.
